Busted At Work

I have a good friend who works in IS at UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch) in Galveston.
Apparently they are sweeping the school, cracking down on employees reading questionable, non-work-related material on the internet on work time.
She's told me few people have been caught reading blogs and one person in particular was reading MY blog! Several times a day, in fact.

Get a life. My blog isn't that interesting and if you're looking for information to use for nefarious purposes, fuck off. You can't believe half, if not more, of what you read here or anywhere else in the blogosphere.
Guess you need to be careful. You're being watched. They know who you are.
Besides, no one's anonymous on the internet, not even lurkers.

Just because I pop in a few times an hour doesn't mean I'm a stalker. The dark clothes, IR goggles and super zoom lens on the other hand...

;-)

Ha!!
I would be PROUD to have you as my stalker J-Snooze!

This stalker however has already visited my site 13 times today after doing extensive google searching for anything related to me or this site.
Does she not KNOW that her IP address can be traced back to the very machine she is sitting at???

Wow, that's kinda creepy. I have to say, if I find a really good blog/journal, I usually take time to read up on some of the archives. I don't think I visit 13 times a day though - I have to get SOME work done. And I don't Google the person, either. That's just creepy.

Thank you Sheila!
It IS creepy!
Not only do I get up to 20 hits a day from this person but it's been going on for a few weeks!
And they google me every single day!
What's worse is that this is someone from my general area...can we say "STALKER"??? ;) Can we also say, "Mentioning this to my uncle, the Sheriff's Deputy"? LOL
