Deletion Happens

I ended up deleting a post...something I've only done once in my nearly 6 years of blogging.
I wrote about a local christian-type event here and realized that was a big mistake...not because I have changed my opinion but because the last thing I want is any local attention on this blog and nothing draws more attention than bashing a christian event.
Even though I prefaced my rant with a long drawn out explanation of my deep respect for the faith of others, I was called uneducated and ignorant and judgmental. Which, of course, is their right to think that. Who knows? They might be correct.
But, this christian event is getting a lot of attention in our area so I thought it best to lay low. This blog is for fun, silly pictures of my pets and mostly my neglect, not for conflict and I don't want a bunch of torch-wielding fanatics banging down my virtual door.
Therefore, *beeboop*. It's deleted.

*beeboop* is our family's sound effect for deleting something. I have no idea what it means or where the hell it came from. It's just our thing.
