Hysteria

The local media are wetting themselves. They are so fucking happy they have a hard time looking concerned.
But they find it really easy to tell us all we're going die.

Normally calm people find themselves in a panic after watching the news.
I finally grabbed the remote and changed it to the Food Network. Paula Deen doesn't think we're going to die. She wants us to make goulash and caramel cake!

I can't decide if Paula Deen is a force of evil or not. She seems nice enough, with her smiling and her southern accent. But then she uses all that butter, and it's like she knows her cooking will kill us all. Maybe that's why she's smiling?? It's a total toss-up...

Oh wow. De.
I just watched the news. You're fucked.

I bought premium yesterday at $3.77/gal. We drove to Charleston today, and SC always has cheaper gas than where we live (for tax reasons). I passed a gas station today and regular was 4.45. WTF

Be safe, babe. I'm keeping you and yours in my thoughts.

De,

Gimme a call at the dealership on Wednesday.

We'll be semi-open Monday, but I'll be on the island, sorting out the losses.

No doubt, the New Dawn is but shards. To be verified, but I've seen local photos of boats from the marina shatted on the nearby I-45 median.

Being with friends in Katy, I'm enjoying power, water and AC. Not a bad shelter

But, I'll be back on the island Monday, in spite of Hell and High Water.
